2009-2010 K2 COOMBack powder skis
The 2009-2010 K2 COOMBack is designed after Doug Coombs the adventure skier. He was equally happy heli skiing off of Chugach as he was skinning to the top of Antarctica's Mt. Vinson. K2 designed these skis with him in mind. The Coomback deliver solid edge hold and stability at speed, also light enough for touring. K2 retained the powder tip, progressive sidecut and bouyant 102 waist that gave the original Coomba superior predictability in errantic conditions. K2 then added a slight shovel rocker to give it a quicker initiation and better versatility.
